Grampian

Northeast Scotland mountains

Grampian refers to the Grampian Mountains, a mountain range in the Scottish Highlands that includes Ben Nevis, Britain's highest peak.

The name extends to the former Grampian Region, an administrative area in northeastern Scotland centered on Aberdeen: the Grampian coast, Grampian Television.

The mountains form a natural barrier across Scotland.
