correspondent
Foreign news reporter
A correspondent is someone who exchanges letters or messages with another: pen pals are correspondents.
More commonly, a correspondent is a journalist who reports from a particular location or on a specific subject: a war correspondent, a White House correspondent.
As an adjective, correspondent means matching or analogous, though corresponding is more common in this sense.
