Long indoor walkway
A corridor is a long, narrow passage in a building, typically with rooms opening off it on both sides: The hotel corridor stretched endlessly ahead.
The word extends to any narrow strip of land, especially one providing access: an air corridor, a wildlife corridor, a corridor of power.
The plural corridors of power refers to the inner circles where political decisions are made.
