Portable rain cover
An umbrella is a handheld canopy on a collapsible frame, carried to shield against rain or sun.
The frame typically consists of a central pole with radiating spokes that support fabric stretched between them.
Umbrella extends metaphorically to anything that covers or encompasses a range of things: an umbrella organization oversees multiple groups, and umbrella insurance provides broad coverage beyond standard policies.
