thresher
Harvest processing machine
A thresher is a machine that separates grain from stalks and husks—the agricultural process called threshing.
Before mechanization, threshing was done by hand with flails or by animals walking over harvested crops.
A thresher shark has a distinctively long tail fin that it uses to stun prey, whip-like as a flail.
