tarsier
Enormous-eyed nocturnal primate
A tarsier is a small nocturnal primate native to Southeast Asian islands, notable for its enormous eyes—each eyeball larger than its brain.
Tarsiers have elongated ankle bones (tarsal bones, hence the name) that allow them to leap extraordinary distances between trees.
They are among the smallest primates, fitting in a human palm.
