night hunter
Stalks after dark
A night hunter is any creature that hunts primarily after dark—owls, bats, certain cats.
The term applies literally to nocturnal predators and figuratively to humans who operate in darkness, whether stalking prey, pursuing nightlife, or working night shifts: The owl is nature's supreme night hunter.
In gaming and fiction, night hunters are often supernatural beings with enhanced abilities in darkness.
