squids
Ten-armed sea creatures
Squids are marine mollusks with elongated bodies, large eyes, eight arms, and two longer tentacles.
They move by jet propulsion, squirting water through a siphon.
Squid is also common seafood, often fried as calamari.
In slang, a squid is an inexperienced or reckless motorcyclist: Some squid in shorts and flip-flops nearly wiped out on the highway.
