sororities
Campus female fraternities
Sororities are social organizations for female college students, typically identified by Greek letters: She rushed three sororities before getting a bid.
Members often live together in chapter houses, participate in philanthropy, and maintain lifelong affiliations.
The singular is sorority.
The male equivalent is a fraternity, though "fraternity" sometimes covers both.
