Compact snow glider
A skiboard is a short, wide ski designed for freestyle tricks and maneuvers, typically between 75 and 110 centimeters long.
Unlike traditional skis, skiboards are twin-tipped, allowing riders to ski forward or backward with equal ease.
They emerged in the 1990s as a hybrid between skis and snowboards, appealing to those who wanted snowboard-style freedom with the stance of skiing.
The activity of riding them is called skiboarding or snowblading.
