tweak

Nudge the settings

Tweak is a small adjustment or fine-tuning: I made a few tweaks to the recipe.

To tweak something is to adjust it slightly, often to improve performance: She tweaked the settings until the picture looked right.

To physically tweak is to pinch and twist: He tweaked her nose playfully.

In slang, tweaking describes erratic behavior from methamphetamine use, or more loosely, acting agitated or irrational: He's been tweaking all day.
