Wall between nostrils
A septum is a wall of tissue dividing two cavities or masses.
The nasal septum separates the left and right nostrils; a deviated septum causes breathing problems.
In the heart, the septum divides the left and right chambers.
Septum piercings pass through the cartilage between the nostrils: She got her septum pierced last month.
