sales funnel
Customer journey stages
A sales funnel is a model describing the stages customers pass through from initial awareness to final purchase.
The metaphor reflects how many potential buyers enter at the top but progressively fewer advance through each stage—awareness, interest, consideration, decision.
Marketers use it to identify where prospects drop off: We're losing people in the middle of the funnel.
Also called a purchase funnel or marketing funnel.
