A/B testing
Split audience experiment
A/B testing is a method of comparing two versions of something—a webpage, email, advertisement—to see which performs better.
Users are randomly shown version A or version B, and their responses are measured: A/B testing revealed that the red button got more clicks than the blue one.
The technique is standard in web design and marketing optimization.
