pigfish
Noisy Atlantic catch
Pigfish is a name applied to several unrelated fish species, most commonly a grunt found in Atlantic coastal waters that makes pig-like grunting sounds when caught.
The name extends to various other fish that produce similar noises or have pig-like snouts: We caught a few pigfish off the pier.
