Adding metallic layer
Metallization is the process of coating or treating a surface with metal.
In manufacturing, it applies thin metallic layers to plastics, glass, or ceramics for decorative or functional purposes: metallization gives the plastic a chrome-like finish.
In semiconductor fabrication, metallization creates the conductive pathways connecting circuit components.
The British spelling is metallisation.
