chroming
Applying reflective coating
Chroming is the practice of inhaling fumes from aerosol products—particularly metallic spray paint—to get high.
The term comes from the silvery chrome-colored paints often used.
It's especially associated with Australian slang and media coverage of adolescent substance abuse: Two teens were hospitalized after chroming in a parking garage.
The practice is dangerous and potentially fatal.
