fab
Slang for wonderful
Fab is informal shorthand for fabulous, expressing enthusiastic approval: That dress looks fab on you.
The word peaked in 1960s British slang—the Beatles were famously "the Fab Four"—and retains a slightly retro, playful quality.
In other contexts, fab is short for fabrication, as in semiconductor manufacturing: a chip fab.
