mac
Brit's rain jacket
Mac is an informal term for a raincoat, especially a mackintosh—a waterproof coat originally made of rubberized fabric.
The word is more common in British than American English: Don't forget your mac, it looks like rain.
Separately, mac is a casual form of address to a man whose name you don't know, now somewhat dated: Hey mac, you dropped your wallet. (Capitalized Mac is a prefix in Scottish and Irish surnames, or short for Macintosh computers.)
