Microsoft Windows

PC's default software

Microsoft Windows is an operating system developed by Microsoft Corporation, dominant on personal computers since the 1990s.

Named for its graphical interface of movable rectangular panels, Windows replaced command-line interaction with point-and-click navigation.

The system has gone through many versions: I'm still running Windows 10.

Windows is often shortened to just Windows: Does it run on Windows?
