overpass
Road crosses road
An overpass is a bridge that carries a road or railway over another road.
The term emphasizes the structure's function of allowing traffic to pass over an obstacle without intersection: Take the overpass to avoid the traffic light.
In American usage, overpass is more common than flyover, which prevails in British English.
