hooter

Nose, in slang

A hooter is something that hoots—an owl, a horn, a siren, a factory whistle: The owls are real hooters at night.

The ship's hooter sounded.

In British slang, hooter means nose: He's got a big hooter on him.

In vulgar American slang, hooters means breasts: Nice hooters.

This sense was preserved (or exploited) by the Hooters restaurant chain, whose name and owl logo provide plausible deniability.
