hoot
Nocturnal bird cry
Hoot is the call of an owl, or any similar hollow, wavering cry.
To hoot is to make such a sound, or to shout in disapproval or derision: The crowd hooted the speaker off the stage.
A hoot is also something funny: That movie was a hoot.
To not give a hoot is to not care at all.
It's not worth two hoots means it's worthless.
