waitress
She takes orders
A waitress is a woman who serves food and drinks in a restaurant or similar establishment.
The term has been largely displaced by the gender-neutral *server* in American English, though waitress remains common in casual speech and in countries where gendered job titles persist: Our waitress recommended the special.
