proboscis
Animal's head extension
A proboscis is an elongated nose or snout, or a tubular feeding and sensing organ on insects and other invertebrates.
The word applies to an elephant's trunk, a tapir's flexible snout, or a butterfly's coiled mouthpart.
Applied to human noses, it's humorous or mocking: What a proboscis on that guy.
