conk

Slang for schnoz

Conk has several informal meanings united by suddenness or impact.

To conk out is to fall asleep abruptly or stop working: The engine conked out on the highway.

A conk on the head is a blow, and to conk someone is to hit them.

In older slang, conk also meant to straighten kinky hair with chemicals, or the hairstyle itself—now largely historical.
