fetish
Object of fixation
A fetish is an object believed to have magical or spiritual power, especially in West African and related traditions.
The meaning extends to any object of irrational devotion: He made a fetish of punctuality.
In sexual contexts, a fetish is an object or body part that arouses erotic desire beyond its ordinary significance—leather, feet, uniforms.
Someone with a foot fetish finds feet themselves sexually exciting, not just attached to an attractive person.
