cyclopedia

Comprehensive reference book

Cyclopedia is a shortened form of encyclopedia—a comprehensive reference work covering all branches of knowledge or one particular subject.

The spelling reflects the word's Greek roots more directly than the full form.

Now old-fashioned, cyclopedia appears mainly in the titles of 19th-century reference works: Appleton's Cyclopedia of American Biography.
