glossary

Alphabetized term list

A glossary is a list of terms with their definitions, typically appearing at the end of a book or document to explain specialized vocabulary: The textbook includes a glossary of technical terms.

Unlike a dictionary, which covers general vocabulary, a glossary focuses on words specific to a particular subject, text, or field.
