Off-road bicycle competition
Cyclocross is a form of bicycle racing over mixed terrain—grass, mud, sand, and pavement—with obstacles that force riders to dismount and carry their bikes.
Races are typically short circuits run in fall and winter conditions.
The bikes resemble road bikes but with knobby tires and wider clearances for mud.
She trains for cyclocross season starting in September.
