seatpost
Holds the saddle
A seatpost is the tube that connects a bicycle seat to the frame, inserted into the seat tube and secured with a clamp.
Adjusting the seatpost height changes the rider's leg extension: I raised the seatpost a few centimeters for a more comfortable ride.
Carbon fiber seatposts offer some shock absorption on rough terrain.
