credo
Personal belief system
A credo is a statement of beliefs or guiding principles—what a person or organization stands for.
The word comes from Latin for "I believe" and originally referred to religious creeds, but now applies to any fundamental conviction: Her credo was simple: treat others as you'd want to be treated.
A company's credo might outline its values and commitments.
