certitude

Freedom from doubt

Certitude is the state of being certain—absolute confidence or conviction.

Unlike mere certainty, which can be casual, certitude often carries a philosophical or religious weight: She spoke with the certitude of someone who had seen it herself.

The word sometimes implies stubbornness, suggesting someone too sure of themselves.
