camera lens
Photographer's focusing attachment
A camera lens is the optical component that focuses light onto film or a digital sensor to form an image.
The term usually refers to the entire removable or built-in assembly rather than a single piece of glass: She switched to a telephoto lens for the wildlife shots.
Lenses vary by focal length, aperture, and intended use—wide-angle, portrait, macro.
