HoloLens
Mixed-reality smart glasses
HoloLens is Microsoft's mixed reality headset that overlays holographic images onto the wearer's view of the physical world.
Unlike virtual reality headsets that block out surroundings entirely, HoloLens lets users see and interact with digital objects while remaining aware of their environment.
The device tracks head movement and hand gestures, allowing users to manipulate 3D holograms as if they were physical objects.
The architect used HoloLens to walk clients through building designs before construction began.
