Will Rogers
Oklahoma's folksy humorist
Will Rogers was an American humorist, actor, and social commentator of the early twentieth century, known for folksy wit and political observations.
His quips often tweaked politicians and current events: I don't make jokes. I just watch the government and report the facts.
Rogers died in a 1935 plane crash and remains a symbol of plain-spoken American humor.
