Ziegfeld Follies

Lavish theatrical revues

The Ziegfeld Follies were a series of elaborate Broadway revues produced by Florenz Ziegfeld from 1907 to 1931, featuring lavish sets, spectacular costumes, and showgirls.

The shows helped launch careers of major entertainers and became synonymous with theatrical glamour.

The name now evokes a certain era of American showmanship: all feathers and sequins, like something out of the Ziegfeld Follies.
