Bill Hicks

Bill Hicks was an American stand-up comedian known for dark, provocative material attacking consumerism, religion, and American politics.

Active from the 1980s until his death from pancreatic cancer in 1994 at age 32, he developed a cult following that grew posthumously.

His aggressive, philosophical style influenced later comedians who blend social commentary with comedy.
