Horseshoe-shaped hardware piece
A U-bolt is a bolt bent into a U shape, with threads on both ends that pass through holes and secure with nuts.
U-bolts clamp around pipes, axles, or other cylindrical objects to hold them in place: The exhaust pipe is held up by a U-bolt.
