TV channel
Remote control selection
A TV channel is a designated frequency or stream on which television programming is broadcast.
Channels are typically identified by numbers or names: What channel is the game on?
By extension, a channel is also the network or station itself: That channel only shows reality TV.
To change the channel is to switch to different programming.
