Airborne predator storm
Sharknado is a tornado containing sharks—a premise from a series of intentionally absurd disaster films beginning in 2013.
The word has become shorthand for entertainingly ridiculous sci-fi concepts or any scenario so preposterous it loops back to enjoyable: The plot was pure sharknado territory.
