drinking game
Boozy social competition
A drinking game is a social activity where participants drink alcohol according to rules triggered by game events—drawing certain cards, failing challenges, or when specific things happen in a movie or TV show being watched.
The games range from simple (Take a drink whenever someone says 'winter is coming') to elaborate competitions.
The point is structured excuse-making for getting drunk together.
