One Piece is a Japanese manga and anime series following a young pirate named Monkey D.
Luffy who seeks the legendary treasure "One Piece" to become King of the Pirates.
Created by Eiichiro Oda and running since 1997, it ranks among the best-selling manga of all time.
The term also refers to something made as a single unit: a one-piece swimsuit, a one-piece toilet.
