Sea of Japan
Between Japan, Korea
The Sea of Japan is a marginal sea of the western Pacific, bounded by Japan to the east and the Asian mainland (Russia, North Korea, South Korea) to the west.
Korea calls it the East Sea, and that name appears alongside Sea of Japan on many maps due to ongoing diplomatic disputes over nomenclature.
