Kegel

Internal muscle tightening

A Kegel is an exercise that strengthens the pelvic floor muscles by repeatedly contracting and relaxing them.

Named for gynecologist Arnold Kegel, who developed the technique.

Kegels help with urinary incontinence, postpartum recovery, and sexual function.

The exercises can be done discreetly anywhere: She does her Kegels while sitting at her desk.
