Golden Age

Era of innocence

When capitalized, Golden Age typically refers to a specific historical period of cultural flourishing, most often the Dutch Golden Age of the 17th century or the Golden Age of Greece in the 5th century BCE.

In American comics, the Golden Age designates the era from the late 1930s through the early 1950s when Superman, Batman, and other iconic superheroes first appeared. (Lowercase golden age refers to any peak period.)
