Christian mythology
Gospel-derived sacred narratives
Christian mythology refers to the stories, symbols, and narrative traditions of Christianity—creation, the fall, miracles, resurrection, apocalypse—when viewed through the lens of comparative religion or literary analysis rather than as articles of faith.
The term is neutral in academic contexts but may offend believers who consider these accounts historical truth rather than myth.
The course covered Christian mythology alongside Greek and Norse traditions.
