Annie Oakley

Annie Oakley was an American sharpshooter (1860–1926) who gained fame performing in Buffalo Bill's Wild West show.

Her name became slang for a complimentary ticket or free pass—the punched holes in such tickets resembled the bullet holes she shot through playing cards.

The promoter gave us Annie Oakleys to the show.
