westside
City's sunset edge
Westside refers to the western part of a city or region, typically as a distinct neighborhood or cultural identity.
In American cities, the westside often carries particular connotations—wealth in Los Angeles, working-class roots in other places: He grew up on the westside.
The term gained prominence in hip-hop as a declaration of regional pride and affiliation: Westside till I die.
