Teletext was a text-based information service broadcast in television signals, accessed through dedicated buttons on TV remotes.
Viewers could navigate numbered pages displaying news, weather, sports scores, and TV listings.
Popular in the UK and Europe from the 1970s through the 2000s, teletext was eventually superseded by the internet.
The blocky, pixelated graphics remain nostalgic for a generation.
